How we cover the NFL

FanVerdicts tracks every reported NFL transaction — from multi-year quarterback extensions to practice-squad signings — and publishes four separate letter grades for each move the day it hits the wire. Our performance grades are calibrated by position so a running back is not being judged against an edge rusher, and our contract grades adjust for the cap environment at the moment the deal was signed rather than the cap of the current season.

Beyond individual transactions, the NFL hub aggregates grades into player rankings, GM report cards, and team ratings that update every morning with the previous day's news. The draft simulator pulls the same player database so fans can mock the upcoming draft against empirically calibrated team-need models, and the trade-values board lets readers compare any two players on equivalent dollars-of-value-per-season terms.
