Background

Cameron Boozer is the son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer and twin brother of Cayden Boozer. He grew up in Miami, Florida and attended Christopher Columbus High School, where he established himself as one of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. A five-star recruit, Boozer chose Duke and immediately became the centerpiece of the Blue Devils' roster. As a freshman, Boozer dominated the ACC, posting 22.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 56% from the field. His passing ability from the forward position — averaging 4.1 assists — sets him apart from typical power forwards. He earned Consensus All-American honors and swept the major ACC awards, leading Duke to a 22-2 start to the season.
