Big Board Rank: #109 · Day 3 Sleeper
Tacario Davis enters the 2026 NFL Draft as an intriguing developmental cornerback prospect who showcased steady improvement throughout his three-year career at Washington. After arriving as a relatively unknown three-star recruit, Davis carved out a significant role in the Huskies' secondary, displaying the length, athleticism, and coverage instincts that translate well to the next level. His breakout 2025 campaign featured five interceptions and 12 pass breakups while anchoring Washington's improved pass defense. While Davis possesses the raw tools NFL teams covet—including excellent length at 6-1 with 33-inch arms and legitimate 4.4 speed—his inconsistent press technique and tendency to get grabbed by physical receivers in contested situations prevent him from being a higher-rated prospect. Still, his special teams prowess, coachability, and upside make him an appealing Day 3 selection for teams seeking developmental depth with starter potential.
